Hunt Details & Pricing

Full-Day Quail Hunt Experience

• Duration: 4-6 hours of premium hunting time
• Base Price: $2,000 (includes 2 hunters)
• Additional Hunters: $1,000 per person
• Additional Viewer: $250 (walking with hunters)
• Group Size: Up to 4 hunters maximum per group for optimal safety and success

For larger parties, we can arrange separate hunting groups to accommodate your entire team while maintaining our commitment to safety and personalized service.

The Hunt Experience

Each hunt features 60 quail strategically placed throughout our premium hunting preserve, giving you excellent opportunities for action-packed hunting. While 60 birds are guaranteed on the ground, skilled hunters often harvest additional birds, making every hunt unique and rewarding.
Our experienced guides work alongside professionally trained bird dogs to ensure you have the best possible chance of success, regardless of your experience level. From tracking and flushing to shot placement advice, our team is dedicated to making your hunt both successful and educational.

Requirements & Preparation

Hunting License A valid hunting license is required for all participants. Please email proof of your current hunting license prior to your scheduled hunt date.
Required Attire & Safety Gear

• Sturdy boots suitable for walking on varied terrain
• Long pants for protection while walking through cover
• Hunter orange hat or vest (required for safety)
• Safety glasses and ear protection (mandatory)

Don’t have hunter orange? Hunters Envy branded orange hats are available for purchase at $30 each.

Bring Your Own Dog

We welcome hunters who prefer to work with their own dogs! This can add a special personal element to your hunting experience. Please notify us in advance if you plan to bring your dog, and submit current vaccination records prior to your hunt. Please note that you are responsible for your dog’s behavior and safety during the hunt.

Safety First – Our Non-Negotiable Rules

At Hunters Envy, safety is our top priority. All hunters must adhere to these essential safety protocols:

Permitted Firearms

20 gauge shotguns are the recommended firearm for upland bird hunting. We do not allow shotguns any larger than 20 gauge. If you want to shoot smaller than a 20 gauge shotgun, you are more than welcome to. 

Firearm Safety

• Muzzles must be pointed skyward at all times while walking
• Finger off the trigger until ready to shoot
• Maintain proper shooting zones and straight-line formation
• Safety glasses and ear protection required at all times

Dog Safety Our hunting dogs are valuable, trained professionals. Exercise extreme caution around all dogs. Any injury to our dogs due to negligent shooting will result in a $5,000 fine.
Environmental Responsibility We hunt on protected conservation land that must be respected. All shell casings must be collected and properly disposed of.
Weather & Safety Protocols

• Hunts may be delayed due to lightning or severe weather conditions.
• Our staff reserves the right to end any hunt due to safety concerns.
• All safety decisions are final.

About the Preserve

Our 55-acre preserve is dedicated just to quail hunting. Within the preserve boundary, you will find changes in terrain and habitat that meet the standards of beginner and intermediate upland bird hunters. With the preserve located only a couple hundred yards from the camp, you won’t waste any time getting on the birds. 

Our lodge gives our hunters a space to get prepared and ready to go before the hunt. Luxury bathroom, changing rooms, and conference table give groups a spot to debrief before the hunt. 

Additional Add-Ons

• Bass Fishing Before or After Hunt ($50 per person) – Our 1-acre pond is fully stocked with feeders and game fish including largemouth bass, tilapia, crappie, and catfish. Looking for a fun way to compete against your group? Try out our fishing competition for a place on the leaderboard in the Lodge. 
• Gourmet Lunch ($40 per person)
• Box of 20 gauge Shells ($25 per box)
• Box of .410 Shells (contact us for pricing)
• Blaze Orange hats can be purchased from our website before hunting or you can pay upon arrival.
• Gun Rental $75 per gun (20 gauge over-and-under shotgun)
• Youth Gun Rental $75 per gun (.410 over-and-under shotgun)
