Prescribed Fire on Tuesday, June 10th
The Colbert-Cameron Mitigation Bank will be utilizing Prescribed Fire as a land management activity on Tuesday, June 10th starting at approximately 930am.
Property Staff & The Florida Forestry Service will be overseeing the burn.
This is a 6-acre controlled burn that will be directly south of Blackberry Rd & Dragonfly Run.
Smoke screens show smoke traveling NE. The majority of Lake Harney Woods POA should not be affected by the smoke, however smoke tends to linger and shift depending on weather conditions.
Prescribed Fire is a very important land management tool that does wonderful things for the ecosystem. As a mitigation bank, we are obligated to follow the rules of the regulatory agencies, one of which is prescribed fire.
